A local volunteer organization that strives to offer support to cancer patients and their families in the Katahdin region that includes towns of Millinocket, East Millinocket and Medway.

Operation Breadbasket  Bread loaves and sweets are delivered by volunteers on the 4th Tuesday of the month to the homes of cancer patients.
Transportation  We maintain a list of volunteer drivers and information who provide rides for patients to and from their doctor or treatment appointments.
Equipment Loan A large inventory of equipment which covers everything from hospital beds to shower seats, wheel chairs, commodes, crutches, walkers and canes are available for loan to Tri-Town residents only.  All equipment must be returned in good condition when it’s no longer being used.
Donations The support group relies on donations to continue their work.

Living Innovations supports people with disabilities to live a good life.   They are dedicated to being Maine’s provider of choice for Shared Living, Community Support, In-home Support and a range of other services.

MAS Community Health

MAS Community Health provides innovative behavioral health therapies and exceptional service by listening and adapting to the needs we see in the Maine communities we proudly serve. We provide the full range of our services in the Maine behavioral health community, in client homes, at schools and at any of the MAS locations.

Family Caregiver Services

Provides caregivers with referrals, resources, respite, support and education.

SAVVY Caregiver

Provides training for families and friends caring for someone with memory loss, Alzheimer’s disease or dementia.

Caregiver Respite Services

Supports family caregivers by helping them pay for someone else to provide care for the person with dementia.

UMaine Center on Aging
Senior Companion Program

Through this program homebound elders are able to stay in their own homes longer thanks to regular visits for Senior Companions – dedicated, active individuals age 55 and older.

Creative Options

Provides services and home support to adult with intellectual disabilities that are based on personal choice.  This support will encourage those we serve to be as independent as possible, both at home and in the community.
