About Thrive Penobscot
Thrive Penobscot is a grant-funded public health program of
Millinocket Regional Hospital serving the Katahdin region. We link people to
resources to stay well by working with networks, organizations, and individuals to improve systems related to transportation, food security, housing, substance use disorder, youth mental health, and social connectedness. Through community partnerships and collaboration, we build awareness and increase access to and use of available resources. Focusing on public health, we strive to be responsive to the emergent needs of our residents in an effort to prevent negative health outcomes and promote wellness.
